Kingston Confederate Cemetery

The Cemetery now harbors only two Union soldiers, the others moved to the National Cemetery in Marietta ; 249 unknown Confederate soldiers and two known Confederates.

These men were wounded in the battles of Perryville, Chickamauga, Missionary Ridge, and the Dalton-Kingston Campaign and died in hospitals in Kingston
