  Text Box: Resaca Confederate Cemetery


The oldest Confederate military burial ground in Georgia and one of the two oldest in the south. The other is in Winchester, VA and was dedicated on the same day, October 25, 1866. Graves are arranged by state. There are 450 bodies that were re-interred in 1866.
