Civil War Cemeteries

Rosehill Cemetery

Chicago, IL

Union Graves

At 350 acres, Rosehill is the largest cemetery in the City of Chicago. Cemetery tours are given free the 2nd and 4th Saturdays Spring thru Fall at 10AM.

A Civil War walking tour map is available at the office with 30 points of interest  listed.

I was told at the office that pictures were not allowed. Respecting the wishes of the staff I declined to take pictures. In searching the WEB I have found that others have taken pictures and posted them. Apparently they were not aware of the rules. Following are the links to those sites.
